No! ON THE GREEN is an open-access community music festival, meaning you’re free to turn up and enjoy everything we have to offer without needing to buy a ticket.
Please note that, in line with our licensing requirements, we reserve the right to control access to the venue and may restrict crowd numbers if required (so come early to guarantee entry!).
Yes (and no). We like to think of ON THE GREEN as a ‘Pay what you can’ event… it’s free for everyone to attend, but if you can afford to make a donation, please do (donation boxes will be available on site).
We’re proud to have created an event that is open to everyone and isn’t limited to those who can afford tickets (if you can’t afford to donate, that’s totally okay!) – but we have limited funding and the event costs a lot to put on. We’re so grateful to everyone who donates even a small amount.
Yes – we have a free car-park available. However, we’d encourage the use of public transport, walking, cycling and car-sharing to the event.
If you are driving to the event, please use the postcode RH17 7QG and follow signs to the event car-park.
We’re delighted to have a range of caterers attending On The Green in 2019. Food available will include Pizza, BBQ, Thai, Caribbean, Donuts and more…
Yes! The main event bar will be run by Wivelsfield Bonfire Society. We are also thrilled to be joined by Wise Owl Cider.
Sure! We have a delicious range of food and drink on offer at On The Green in 2019, but if you’d like to bring a picnic and your own drinks, that’s fine too (but please take your rubbish home with you!).
Yes – On The Green is a community event and we’re proud that it’s open to all ages.
Please ensure that any children are appropriately supervised at all times whilst at the event.
Toilets are provided at the event – both in the Village Hall building and with portaloos located near the food-court (including an accessible cubicle).
